"I ended up getting in the game at the end (long story)"

Bet you didn't storm any doors using your Mossad training though.

Wimp.

Re: spare ticket for charity available
I was bidding for the ticket as I thought it was a lovely gesture by said ticket holder, I was on the DLR to Beckton going head to head with Alwaysaniron & got up to £450.

That's when it got confusing as gavros assured me Alwaysaniron had won because my bids had exceeded the cut off time for bidding, jooliandix wasn't online (couldn't work that out seeing as he wanted as much as poss for charity?) to clarify who'd won the bid, myself & Alwaysaniron could quite easily have had a fall out over who'd won, no one knew weather we were going on the who fast clock or normal time?

I phoned the hospice hoping to speak to jooliandix & find out who won, I spoke to two nice ladies who both knew about the auction & told me it had already been collected, this was around 4ish.

All tallied up it was a lovely gesture & great idea, however lack of communication saw that it ended up a bit of a shambles & a couple of us felt let down.

I will make a future donation to Richard house though as I said to the girl I would after she asked me to still go there & have a look around.

I ended up getting in the game at the end (long story) so it all ended up well for me at the finish anyway!

Irons!

Re: spare ticket for charity available
If only they had a camera like 13BR had and took a photo of the transaction happening and the money being given over (was it one of those giant cheques??)... then this would all be sorted... I think?

Re: spare ticket for charity available
So jooliandix advertised a ticket, SJS is the highest bidder, but no one believes this simple transaction did not take place? IF these two think this is funny, this is why sometime you have to be ashamed of some of our "Supporters"
!! What can you get from this sort of bollocks?Scummy thing to do IF you done it!!

Hope you're ok Croe son!!!

This site never fails to amaze me, if I'd have seen this I'd have gone for it and donated, what exactly is the issue?

Seriously some fucking weird people on here.

I didn't get a ticket last night and took it on the chin and watched what I thought was good coverage by Sky in the end with a beer in hand, some people are so bitter!

Probably thew same knobs who think I'm Romford Hammer!
